Lighthouse

          1919

This small concrete fog signal building began shining a flashing white light on June 30, 1919.  An automated modern optic lens has replaced the original forth-order Fresnel lens.  The two original keeper's houses still stand along with the remains of a lime kiln and quarry just north of the lighthouse.  The lighthouse now houses a marine mammal research station.
