Point No Point Lighthouse

  The oldest lighthouse on Puget Sound began operation  with a kerosene lantern in January 1880.  By April the fifth-order Fresnel lens and fog bell were installed. For forty years no roads reached Point No Point......everyone and everything came by boat.  In 1915 the lens was changed to a forth-order lens and automated in 1977......
