Slip Point Lighthouse

1905 

  The forth lighthouse built on the Strait of Juan de Fuca began operation in 1905. The fog signal building had a small attached tower with lens lantern on top.....the keepers dwelling (above right) was further down the bay.  The lighthouse was dismantled in the 1950s and replaced by an unmanned light and fog signal now 12 miles east from this point......
